| Biography: About Regina Leeds
|
New York City native Regina Leeds has brought order to home and work environments across the United States since January, 1988 when she started her company, Get Organized! by REGINA. Currently based in Los Angeles, her clientele runs the gamut from movie stars to business people and housewives.
One Year to an Organized Life hit bookstores in January, 2008 and was an instant New York Times best seller. One Year to an Organized Work Life followed in January, 2009 and One Year to an Organized Financial Life arrived in January, 2010. The last (to date) in the series is One Year to an Organized Life with Baby and debuted this January, 2011. Regina has just completed her ninth book on getting organized. For those with time challenges who can't imagine devoting a year to getting organized, she has created The 8 Minute Organizer. It will be released in the Spring of 2012. 8 Minute is part of the Perseus/DaCapo family of publishers as are all the books in the One Year to ... series.
Regina's first book was The Zen of Organizing; Creating Order and Peace in Your Home, Career and Life. Her second book Creating a Place Without Losing Your Space: a Couples Guide to Blending Homes, Lives and Clutter is out of print but soon to reappear as an e-book. It will be in the marketplace in time for your Christmas, 2011 shopping pleasure. The new title is The Urge to Merge and the material was updated to help families dealing with the issue of merging households in this tough economy. Whether you are getting married, moving back home or renting a room in a friend's house, you'll want this guide.
The Idiot's Guide to Decluttering was published in May, 2007. Regina would like to remind you it's a great primer on getting organized and not just for idiots! This guide, as well as her first two titles, was produced by Alpha Books.
In 2002 Regina ghost wrote a book for a self help guru on an aspect of getting organized. She wishes she could tell you the name but her contract prohibits it and the self help guru would not be pleased. Everything you ever wanted to know about getting organized can be found in one of her books. There's one tailored just for you and your needs.
