I'm always asked where I shop for client needs and for gifts. I do have a short list of go to sites and I decided to share them with you starting with the incomparable Uncommon Goods. I can always find unique gifts that are made of high quality materials. This week I discovered they are located in Brooklyn which is my hometown. Now they are dearer than ever!
Here is one item I pulled for its beauty just to give you an idea what you'll find at
www.UncommonGoods.com. I can't bear to see books on a shelf in a careless fashion. They look inebriated when they should look inviting and proud. Bookends to the rescue!
You'll find many fun variations on this them so be sure and visit the site. And if you have artistic tendencies and any love for my home Borough there's a contest to design a Brooklyn flag! Here's the link:
It's never too early to look ahead and see whose birthday is on the horizon. It's nice to order a gift well in advance and be able to cross that item off your To Do list. And dare I say it? You know what will be here soon so sign up for the Uncommon Goods newsletter and get your holiday gift giving behind you. It's OK to be smug come December when you can relax and enjoy the season while your friends complain of a lack of time. Just say: "Hey, I'm Zen Organized!"
