I am a highly visual person. Pinterest is my all time favorite Social Media site. I realized recently that I could do a series of blog posts sharing with all of you what I see when I look at a photo. Getting organized is about a lot of things and one of them is being sensitive to the visual presentation of an area after you have done the hard work of eliminating, categorizing and organizing ie worked The Magic Formula. To this end I am using images from around the web and sharing what I see. Let me know what you think and if this helps you sharpen your Zen Organizing skill set.
While this room may be too Zen and spare for most of you, I love the simplicity of the design. I love the light that floods the room from the windows and makes it feel less claustrophobic. I like the symmetry of the matching lights and nightstands. I prefer that the space under the bed be clear, however, this was a tiny home and so use of every square inch counts. The drawers under the bed are key for storage under these circumstances. Do you like what you see? Do you notice something you like or dislike that I missed?
I love A frame cabins but this one left me cold. I could not sleep with the bed in that position. The windows help with claustrophobia but still ... There is no room for a nightstand and making the bed would require the assistance of a contortionist. Entering this loft from the stairs I would need to have a railing of some sort so that no one ever fell off. I can just see my Charlie doing just that! If this tiny home were occupied by one person a single bed would help. The sleeping areas in most tiny homes make me uncomfortable especially when you can't stand up. I guess I am passed the age of slithering into bed. LOL.
I will be posting new photos at least twice a week for the foreseeable future. If you have a photo you'd like me to review as a professional organizer, send it to me!
